My parents were in town for a short visit over the weekend. Danny had a lot of fun playing with them. They sang lots of songs (my dad's favorite was "Do Your Ears Hang Low?"), played with his toys, and overall enjoyed being together. It was neat to see how my parents interacted with their grandson, and to think about how they raised me. I am so grateful that I had such loving, giving parents, who also happen to be very loving, giving grandparents!

Seriously, becoming grandparents changes everything. Never did I think I might see the Dr and Mrs. Hoffs rolling on the ground with a baby and looking very happy about it.
