Danny is a Joy

We are finding that every day, Danny finds new ways to bring joy into our lives. He has a wonderful sense of humor, and learns new, clever, and funny things at alarming speeds. Between words and signs, he has close to a 30 word vocabulary. Danny appears to be trying to self potty train. He tells us right after he pees and then wants to sit on the toilet. His intensity, persistence, intelligence, perceptiveness, and creativity (not to mention his cuteness!) make it hard to believe that our son is only 17 months old. He has taught us so much about patience, balance, and self sacrifice. It's hard to imagine we once had a life without Danny.

Danny stacks cans, then wipes them down with a napkin, like shining a trophy.

His favorite spot where he knows he's not supposed to play.

Danny plays with his toy cars, rolling them around and saying "vrooom vrooom".

He's finally over his "I hate baths" stage (finally!). Now he loves to play. We chuckle every time he squirts himself in the face with his whale.
