Danny at the Mid South Fair

Last night we met up with some of the Egyptology students and my professors to witness the annual event that is the Mid South Fair. Danny was fascinated by all the lights and sounds, he kept trying to high five the Ferris Wheel. We walked around and ate a whole funnel cake by myself. Danny was covered in powdered sugar by the end. We didn't pay the $.50 to see "Spidora" the spider with the human head. We also didn't eat (the worst thing I can imagine for your health) deep fried Twinkies. Can you imagine? Not that the funnel cake is much better, but still...


Of course one of the main reasons to go to the fair was to hear my professor scream like a girl (he really did) on the rides. If you look closely you can see him in the blue shirt here on the "Pharaoh's Fury", an appropriate ride for the nerdy Egyptologists.
