Family and Friends

We spent New Year's in Wheaton again this year. Flying was an adventure. It didn't help that I had forgotten the new regulations and had packed all of our toiletries in our carry on bags. Danny did great. I guess this is the right age to fly since he's happy just to be held and nursed.

We were able to see many dear friends including Becca, Patti, Ariel, and Fern (my best friends from high school), Matt (another high school buddy), Mrs. J (my favorite teacher), Mr. Edwards (my piano teacher and mentor), as well as many neighbors and church family members. It was a joy to show off Danny to all his adopted aunts, uncles, and grandparents.

On December 31, Danny was dedicated at Bridgeway Community Church. It was such a blessing to bring him to my home church to present before the Lord with my family. Everyone is convinced that he is the best baby in the world because he didn't cry at all through the service. Haha- we fooled 'em good!
