Yesterday we had a real "our parenting is paying off" moment. While I was getting lunch ready, I dropped the plate on my foot (don't ask). I must have said "ouch!". Danny came running from the other side of the room, bent down and kissed my foot. My heart melted. Who could ask for a sweeter little boy?
