Danny's Baptism

Yesterday, Danny was baptized. He wasn't exactly thrilled the first time we tried on his outfit (It's a traditional Filipino Baptism gown). We managed to keep him from drooling/ spitting up all over it.

It was a nice ceremony- welcoming him into the Church, lighting candles, readings, and recalling some of Salvation History involving water. Danny was, of course, the only one of the three babies that cried through the whole service. Paul had to stand in the aisle and bounce him around. Paul's parents, Danny's godparents- Suzanne and Noel- as well as Auntie Minda and Uncle Chat joined us for the event. Afterwards we went out for a late lunch at Applebee's. All in all, it was a special day for everyone involved.
